Paul continues from the creation of the one new man and reveals the long-hidden mystery: that the Gentiles are now fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. This truth was given to him by revelation so that he might proclaim the unfathomable riches of Christ and bring to light the administration of the mystery.
The purpose is that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, according to His eternal purpose carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Him we have boldness and confident access through faith.
